As an avid traveler and lover of peaceful getaways, I recently had the pleasure of staying at Shilstone Lodge. the location was absolutely stunning, surrounded by beautiful landscapes perfect for long walks and relaxation. the lodge itself was incredibly comfortable, with lovely little touches that added to the overall experience. Upon arrival, we were greeted with a delicious cream tea, a thoughtful gesture that truly set the tone for a perfect stay. the lodge was beautifully appointed, with everything we needed for a comfortable and enjoyable stay. the option to purchase groceries on site was a convenient touch for those who may have forgotten to pack essentials. One of the highlights of our stay was the opportunity to engage in activities such as golfing, fishing, and cycling in the surrounding area. the nearby attractions, including Newton Abbot Racecourse and Sandy Park Rugby Stadium, provided plenty of entertainment options for our group. Overall, I would highly recommend Shilstone Lodge to anyone looking for a peaceful and comfortable getaway. the attentive staff, lovely location, and array of activities make it the perfect destination for a relaxing holiday. I cannot wait to visit again in the future.
